If You Moust You Moust is part of OPI's recent Minnie Mouse Collection. Because of the cool tones in it, it reminds me of Shorts Story - a fave of mine, and also a Jessica polish I have which I don't know the name of (useful Alice, real useful). It's a bright, Barbie-ish, girlie pink without being too in your face.
The formula is amazing - it glides on really well and smoothly, and is completely opaque with two coats. I really love this polish and will add it to my favourite pinks, but perhaps save it for when it's a little warmer, I have suddenly got the urge to have dark dark nails - Lincoln Park After Dark, here I come!
Nails of the Day - OPI Berlin There Done That
Another of my eBay USA haul, is OPI's Berlin There Done That, from the Fall 2012 Germany collection. Yes, you would be forgiven for thinking it's very similar to the last polish I showed from the same haul, yet they are very different!
It's a hard one for me to describe as it seems to change depending on what kind of light you are in. In bright light it can look grey, but in general I'd describe it as taupe, mushroom, greige, concrete....!?!
It's a great formula, being totally opaque in two coats and no streaking. As I use a topcoat, my nails always look shiny, but I've had two people on two separate occasions asking if they are gel as they are so super-duper shiny.
Loving it!

Nails of the Day - OPI Care to Danse?
One of my lovely friends bought me the New York City Ballet mini OPI collection for my birthday - which consists of three sheer polishes, and a delicate glitter - think tutus, pale pink satin ballet slippers and feminine, elegance - and that there is the collection!
The first I tried out was Care to Danse? - OPI say "this lilac is up-to-the-minuet in fashion" - but I'd say it's more pink than lilac. A very white, cool-toned pink in a jelly formula.
First, let me talk about the sheerness of this - it is verrrrry sheer. I ended up doing five coats to get it this opaque, sheer! If someone had very well manicured nails, I can imagine this would look very pretty - but the nails underneath would have to be gorgeous, because it's totally transparent. It's also a great colour for bridal looks, but personally, for me, it has to be worn built up in this way.
What do you think of it? Do you wear your sheers sheer, or build them up like me?

Nails of the Day - Nicki Minaj for OPI - Fly
As promised, here is the other polish from the Nicki Minaj for OPI collection.
Fly is a very vibrant turquoise colour - I wouldn't say it was 'bright' as I have blue's much brighter - but it does pack a big punch!
The brush seemed wider than normal OPI pro-wide brushes, as was the case with Pink Friday. Because of this some of my nails were covered with just one swoop of the brush. It is a very opaque polish and not at all streaky.
I am a big lover of blue nail varnish - Fly is definitely on my 'like' list - but it has a lot of similarities to Ciaté Headliner which I already have in my collection.

Nails of the Day: Nicki Minaj for OPI - Pink Friday
When I heard Nicki Minaj was doing a nail polish collection for OPI I couldn't wait to see the colours. They are inspired by her love of bright colours - and if her collaboration with MAC was anything to go by, this collection would be good too.
In the end I decided to buy just two of the six polishes - Pink Friday, and Fly - which I will swatch soon so stay tuned for that one.
My first thoughts as I was applying the polish was how wide the brush was - it seems a lot wider than the usual Pro-Wide OPI brush. The formula was very thick, and very opaque - one coat was more than enough to completely cover the nail (although in this photo I went with two - I can't not!)
I love the colour - it is almost a bright baby pink while staying milky, and reminds me of Hubba Bubba drink (who remembers that!?). It's similar to a few other pinks I have, but not identical - perhaps due to the blue tone in it.
I know I am going to give this a good run for it's money over the summer, but it's also the kind of shade you could wear in any season and get away with.
Do you like it? What are your thoughts on the rest of the collection?

Nails of the Day - OPI Light My Sapphire
This is one of the first OPI polishes I ever bought. I haven't worn it for years so I thought I'd dig it out and give it a little outing. Well, I don't know why I ever stopped wearing it, it's gorgeous!
It's an extremely dark blue polish that is very nearly black. In fact, in some lights it is black, but really it's blue (confused?!). There is the tiniest amount of shimmer in the polish that makes it almost metallic looking - it definitely doesn't look like a shimmery finish, but superbly glossy.
It is one of those OPI polishes that definitely needs a second coat - one layer is very patchy and sheer. I used two coats and a coating of Seche Vite and it has lasted for two days on me before getting a bit of wear to the tips of my nails.

Nails of the Day - OPI Elephantastic Pink
I do not like jelly polishes. I do not know why I keep buying jelly polishes. I do not like them. This polish is not an exception. If it were a creme polish it might actually be a nice colour, but as it is, it's as though someone sicked up a strawberry blancmange on my nails.
That is all I have to say on the matter.
If you see me mentioning on Twitter that I'm going to be buying a jelly polish, or adding a jelly polish to a wishlist, can you please remind me I don't like the things, because evidently I keep forgetting.

Nails of the Day - OPI Steady As She Rose
I know I must sound like a stuck record banging on about how great the Pirates of the Caribbean collection by OPI has been, but I have honestly, hand on heart, loved each polish I have from the collection. So much so that I am tempted to buy the shades I hadn't originally chosen. The colours have been fresh and different, and the formula has been spot on in all three I have. The colour is opaque within two coats, goes on easily and lasts well.
Steady As She Rose is a really strange colour! It is a cross between a fawn, and a very pale lilac colour. A rose infused cafe latte if you will! It's really pretty and I absolutely adore it! I did a whole day of DIY wearing this polish and there wasn't a chip in sight, thoroughly impressive!

Nails of the Day - OPI Sparrow Me The Drama
Another nail post?! Well, yes.
This is another from OPI's Pirates of the Caribbean collection - released on 1st May in USA. In quite a contrast to the last Pirates of the Caribbean nail post, Skull & Glossbones, Sparrow Me The Drama really does fit with the season even though it has a cool tone to it. It's a gorgeously pretty pink with a hint of lilac. It reminds me slightly of a brighter version of Sephora by OPI's Casting Call. I love the creme finish OPI polishes, although this one doesn't feel like one of the best formulated - I experienced a bit of dragging when painting my right hand but nothing too terrible. I have a feeling this will be a firm favourite for Summer 2011.

Nails of the Day - OPI Skull & Glossbones
On 1st May, OPI launched a new collection of nail polishes, inspired by the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. They are a range of pastel shades but some of them are completely unique to anything I've seen before. I ordered Skull & Glossbones, Steady as She Rose, and Sparrow Me The Drama. The latter two only arrived today so keep your eyes peeled for a nails of the day featuring those some time soon.
Today it's all about Skull & Glossbones, which I adore! I don't think it's much of a summery colour, but it's nice to chop and change the brights for something a little more muted every once in a while. This is one of those unique colours I spoke about above. There is no doubt that this is a grey polish, but it has a slight green tint to it - really beautiful and intriguing. I also love the name, in fact all of the polishes in this collection have been really cleverly named. This is one of those extra special polishes with great formulation - went on fantastically, is totally opaque and perfect with two coats and topcoat.
Remember, if you're outside of the USA and want to buy these polishes, try eBay Worldwide - the RRP in the UK is £10.50 for an OPI polish, but I paid £6.53 (including p&p from USA) using this eBay seller.

Nails of the Day - OPI Houston We Have a Purple
Houston We Have a Purple is taken from OPI's spring collection - the Texas Collection. It is a really nice raspberry toned colour, which is highly glossy. I have come to discover that I don't like jelly nail polishes. I don't like being able to see the line of the white of my nail under my polish, I don't like the opacity. I am normally a massive OPI fan - I think they are great colours with great staying power, but in this case it began chipping after just one day. I was so unimpressed that it's already gone on eBay.

Nails of the Day - Sephora by OPI Casting Call
A friend of mine picked this up for me on a trip to the States. I haven't worn it for ages but fancied it... I have had it on for 4 days and still no signs of chipping (2 coats with Seche Vite). While we're on the topic of Seche Vite... there's nothing like the feeling of a brand new bottle of topcoat is there!? Posche and Seche Vite both tend to go thick half way through, but I love love love them before they get to that point!
Casting Call is a heathery-pinky-purple colour, a dusty-rose quite similar to Eyeko's Tea Rose. I think it would look fabulous with a tan.

Nails of the Day - OPI Lincoln Park After Dark
This was my staple Autumn/Winter 2009 nail polish - just goes so nicely with everything, lasts well, and with a topcoat is super shiny! As the warmer weather teases us I thought I'd better get in a few wears of this before it's all about brights and pastels that you just can't pull of in the same manner in the cold weather. Lincoln Park After Dark is a dark dark shade with hints of plum. William Tell Me About OPI which was released last year is very similar to this - but this wins hands down. I'd go as far as saying this is one of my favourite shades EVER!

Nails of the Day - OPI Ogre The Top Blue
This polish is from the Shrek Collection which OPI launched last year. It is a deep turquoise shade which never fails to get a mention. I've had it on for a few days now (fab staying power) and seriously so many people have commented on it saying how much they like it.... well apart from my Nan who asked if I'd got my fingers stuck in the door!

Nails of the Day - OPI Tickle My France-y
This is one of my all time favourite nail polishes. OPI came up trumps with this one - such a gorgeous colour which is classy, suitable for work and great as an every day shade, the formula is perfect on it - exactly right in two coats, super shiny and lasts for ages without a chip. Today Matthew, I am wearing TICKLE MY FRANCE-Y *round of applause*

Spring 2011 Nail Polishes
I just stumbled upon the images for the colours of Essie's Spring 2011 nail polish collection, 'A French Affair', which I must say looks rather delicious. I think I shall have to purchase all of them, although I'm not so keen on Kisses & Bisses as it looks rather see through and pearlescent which isn't really me. Topless & Barefoot will be the first one I buy, it's just gorgeous!
China Glaze's collection is named Anchors Away. I have found some great swatch pics on AllYouDesire. Pelican Gray, First Mate, Sea Spray and Below Deck are all going on my list!
For OPI's Spring Collection they have gone with a Texan theme, following on from the French, Spanish and Russian collections. The Texas Collection has a whole range of colours sure to suit everyone, although I'm not too sure how 'spring'y they are.
Essie seem to have gone with the pretty pastels, OPI with the bold and bright, and China Glaze have done a combo of the two. I do like the look of Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? and I'm sure I will find myself in ownership of at least one of the pink shades, but by looking at these pics, I think I am in favour of Essie's Spring 2011 Collection.
Which do you prefer? Has anyone got any of these colours and can make a recommendation?
Don't forget, if you are in the UK and thinking of buying any of these, its often cheaper to use eBay, click on international sellers then click on sort by lowest price +P&P. Happy shopping!
*Edited to add* OMG just seen the Orly collection on Scrangie's blog I am in LOVE with that bright purple - wowwwwwwwwww <3

Nails of the Day - OPI Ski Teal We Drop
Ski Teal We Drop is one of the shades from the new OPI Autumn range - the Swiss Collection. I got this from an American seller on eBay (so much cheaper than buying OPI over here!) along with William Tell Me About OPI which I will swatch soon, it's too 'autumney' to wear at the moment. In fact, this is too really. It looks black in some lights, with a blue tinge. More like the bottle colour in sunlight, but it is a dark shade. Really gorgeous, but not right for the lovely weather we're having at the moment. It goes on very well, coating the nails with just one coat, but the photo is with two coats and Poshe topcoat.

Nails of the Day - OPI Rumple's Wiggin'
This came out as part of the Shrek Collection earlier this year. It is a gorgeous light purple creme polish with a slight blue tone to it. It's very pretty and so far I've found it to be different to any other lilac shades I have such as OPI's Lucky Lucky Lavendar. It's definitely my favourite polish from the Shrek Collection.
As usual with OPI, I am in love with the pro-wide brush which makes it easy to apply the polish within 3 strokes. It looked a little streaky after just one coat - I settled on two coats but I think 3 coats would have been better as I can now see patches which seem to have a little less polish on than the rest of the nail.
The colour is very flattering and I'd imagine it would suit all skin tones. It's the kind of shade you'd expect to find on a Mini Egg - yum!
