Bobbi Brown Uber Nude Lip & Eye Palette

I love this time of year - all the cosmetics brands start bringing out their special Christmas Gifts, and this is definitely one I can imagine is going to be on lots of women's lists! Bobbi Brown's Lip & Eye Palette in Uber Nude (there's an Atomic Pink too if that's more your thing) is a perfectly compact palette containing lip and eye colours perfect for nudey neutral lovers.

Housed in the sleek black plastic casing, are three eye shadows - Navajo, Downtown (a new shade), and Espresso, and three lip colours - Uber Beige, Blushed Heather Glitter Lip Gloss (another new shade), and Almost Nude Glitter Lip Gloss.... oh and a mirror too!

What I love about the whole palette is it can transform you from a day to night look, if you wanted to go quite light on the eyes for the day, then vamp it up for the evening, Espresso is dark enough to create a fab smokey eye look with Downtown to soften the edges.

Here I am wearing all three eye colours and Uber Beige.

The three eye shadows are very highly pigmented, matt, and easy to blend.

The two colours pressed into the lip palette are Blushed Heather, which is soft to the touch, and has a high shine, glittery (but not ott disco-ball territory - it's more of a subtle gorgeousness that you catch when the light hits you in a certain way) finish, and Uber Beige, which has a lipstick finish and is the perfect warm nude colour.

In the photo below I am wearing all three eye colours and Blushed Heather lip gloss. 

There is also a mini gloss with a sponge applicator in the palette, Almost Nude Glitter Lip Gloss, which is much more shimmery as you can see in the photo below. It has a hint of caramel flavour to it which is devine, and lovely soft flecks of gold glitter. It has massive staying power too - ideal for Christmas Party season!
