Me in the Daily Express

I had a call today telling me I'd been seen in The Daily Express yesterday. "Did you keep it?" I asked... "er, no... I'll see if my Mum still has it".

I knew the article was coming some time soon, I just didn't know exactly when. My Nan reads the Daily Express every day, so I asked her to keep her eye out for me and let me know so I could buy it. I rang her. "Do you have yesterdays paper?", "no, it's in the recycling" - thanks for recognising me Nan! Truth be told she said she was quite busy so had only had a skim, and luckily the bin men hadn't been yet, so she fished it out for me

I was testing out the Evita Slimsonic machine, which says it will give you results similar to Laser Lipo in your own home. I only had to test it for a fortnight, and it came with instructions to be following a diet and to exercise for 20 minutes per day - which I did - and I lost an inch off my waist. I'm not sure how much of that is down to the machine, but it wasn't a very enjoyable experience to use it - the wire on the machine is really short so you have to stand right next to a plug socket, and it doesn't actually *do* anything to let you know it's working which is a bit of a let down. The conductive gel is the strongest smelling menthol I've ever smelt. God forbid touching anywhere delicate with traces of it on your fingers!

My mum is going to try it out soon - I'll let you know how she gets on.
