  2. Interesting to see your review. I stopped my Glossy Box subscription last as it just wasn't including things I would actually buy for £12.50, even though their retail value is higher, and there were too many duplicated items (like horrible nail wraps and foot cream).

    1. I agree - I think if I'm unimpressed next month, they are going to be the ones to go! x

  3. I actually got a Glossybox this month (I had a discount code to make it £7.95, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered) and to be quite honest, I was fairly unimpressed with it. I got the Clarins extra firming day & night creams instead of the Davines stuff. Would you have been more annoyed with those? I'm giving them to my mum as I don't feel I'll get any use from them. Eyeko have been doing the rounds recently (I got a Fat Eye Stick in my Carmine box!) Also my FAB product says a body wash in the leaflet but I've actually got a body moisturiser, which I think I'll prefer! I'll be doing my review later but as always, loved your video!

    1. Hmm I'm not sure if I'd have been more pleased with Clarins - either way, why put in two products from the same brand, if it's about experiencing new brands?! If they *need* to put two products from the same brand I think they should count as one item (do you like my thinking?!) x

    2. I like that at least the samples from Clarins were day and night creams (so you can kind of see what it'll really do) but I agree, if you're putting things in from the same brand then they shouldn't count as two separate samples. That's like putting a free perfume sample in and pretending that it's a luxury item... (ps love your red lippy! Which on is it??)

  4. I got the Murad and the Eyeko (in a pale pink?!) I got a FAB body moisturizer (the card said body wash but mine is deffo moisturizer) Instead of the Davines (sp?) I got two generous 15ml samples of Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream and Extra Firming Night Cream which I'm very happy with. For me the duff item is the Eyeko because of the colour I got.

    1. The pale pink liner - use it in your waterline to make your eyes look bigger :) x

  5. Completely glad I didn't get this box. Cancelled my subscription last month and was wondering as they were 'hyping' up the Valentines box what it was going to contain and whether I'd miss out - great review. I agree with you about the monetary value - I wouldn't through choice go and purchase these items for £12.95.

    1. I agree, the hype was unnecessary, and the box is hardly valentines-ey either. I thought / was hoping it might be as good as the xmas box... better luck for next month! x

  6. I seem to have got a totally differant box! I got the eyeko pencil in light plum, (its ok but Im a blonde so its prob not best colour for me)
then I got an orly mini nail polish in "ruby" the FAB body wash, (which I agree is weird with the whole red skin description) a 10ml weleda one step cleanser and toner, and the Murad skin perfecting primer
I wasnt overly impressed with the box, as I wouldnt have purchased any of the products. Bit of a let down if Im honest.
Iv just ordered another brand of box, (think it Carmine) so I will compare the two.
    kerry x
